Enjoy warmer winters and cooler summers as Arena slows down heat transfer through the window for year round comfort.
Our honeycomb blinds are made up from a cellular construction of varying sizes from 10 mm and 20 mm single cells to the larger double cells. Honeycomb blinds are designed to trap a pocket of air within their cells thereby creating an insulation barrier between the hot or cold glass of your windows, depending on which time of year, and the living space inside. These blinds have been independently tested in the harsh Australian climate and proven to save as much is 32% on heating costs using the 20 mm single blockout cells.
There are a number of different control systems available with honeycomb blinds. Some of these include cordless, an easy rise chain control, your normal cord lock that you would find on a standard Venetian blind and motorised with remote control. These are all designed with simplicity of use and child safety in mind.
The versatility of honeycomb blinds allows you to design something to meet your needs where other styles of blind would struggle. Due to the compact way that these blinds stack off the window, Day night blinds are able to be hung from the same head rail giving you the advantage of sheer blinds during the day and block out at night. They’re also available with the option known as top down bottom up which means you have far more control of your privacy from certain angles without losing your view. Honeycomb blinds can be used for specialty shapes such as arched or angled windows. They are also one of the few successful options that can be used as a skylight blind.
The fabric used is made from 100% polyester and is designed with a dust repellent. They can be cleaned with a damp sponge or a light vacuum with an upholstery brush on it. This makes honeycomb blinds not only practical, but an easy care choice for your window furnishings.
